How to Resign Yalu Jailbreak without Computer using Extender: Reloaded
Step 1 First of all, ensure your iPhone, iPad or iPod is in jailbreak mode. If it’s not in jailbreak mode, sideload yalu102 or extra_recipe with Cydia Impactor and then proceed to Step 2. Remember, Extender: Reloaded works only in jailbroken state.
Step 2 Remove any other signing tweak that may cause conflicts.
Step 3 Launch Cydia.
Step 4 Tap Manage > Sources.
Step 5 Tap Edit at the top right > Add.
Step 6 Add Matchstic’s repository to Cydia – http://repo.incendo.ws.
Step 7 Search for Extender: Reloaded (formerly Extender Installer) and install this tweak.
Step 8 Launch Extender application from the home screen.
Step 9 Navigate to its Settings section and open More tab.
Step 10 Tap Sign In option and type in your Apple ID details. Your data goes straight to Apple’s servers for authentication. If you are worried about your Apple ID credentials, you can create a new throwaway ID.
Step 11 You will now get two notifications that will look something like this. This means your jailbreak certificate has been resigned successfully.
Step 12 Go to the Installed tab and ensure your jailbreak file is present there. You can also manually resign its certificate by pressing the Re-sign button present in the top-left corner.
How to Configure Auto-Sign in Extender: Reloaded
The first tutorial is now over and you jailbreak will be resigned. Now we must configure and setup the auto-sign function of Extender: Reloaded properly.
The Auto-sign feature makes sure your jailbreak certificate stays signed all the time. It effectively gives you a yalu certificate forever. You will no longer require Cydia Impactor and a computer to resign it.
Simply configure the options as given below –
Step 1 Set the Re-sign Applications When: option to 1 Day Left. I highly recommend you set it to 1 day. This will make sure your jailbreak certificate gets renewed after every 6 days. Enabling this option will consume relatively less battery too.
Step 2 Navigate to Advanced > Check Expiry Times > Every other day.
You can play around with the Re-sign Applications feature and choose the best setting for yourself.
Remember, my setup given above is the best. It ensures Yalu stays signed all the time while consuming minimal battery.
Yalu Jailbreak is now fully Untethered!
That’s all there’s to it. Your jailbreak is now fully untethered instead of semi-untethered.
With Extender: Reloaded, you will have all your bases covered. Simply tap some buttons and you’re good to go.
