Another day, another tweak. Today we talk about a nifty little Cydia tweak – NotifyMusic. Let’s find out more about this tweak.
NotifyMusic Cydia tweak, developed by gilshahar7, lets you display a notification of the song you are listening to along with its metadata. Here’s what it looks like in action.
It displays the Song metadata cleanly. It also displays album artwork on the right hand corner.
At the moment, it only supports the native Music app and Spotify. The developer will also include support for SoundCloud and VOX in the future.
It does nothing fancy and its developer just created it because some users requested this feature. It blends in real good with the native iOS interface. So make sure you give this tweak a go.
Settings and preferences are not present and it works right out of the box. If you want to disable it, simply uninstall it from Cydia and respring your iOS device.
NotifyMusic is available for download on BigBoss Cydia source/repo for free. It is fully compatible with iOS 10.
Keep in mind, it is not compatible with iOS 9. If you want this functionality on iOS 9, use NowListening Cydia tweak. It is available on BigBoss repo for free.
