iPadFeatures – Forced Landscape Mode for all apps and home page

Another day, another tweak. This new tweak aims to force landscape mode on iPhone. Here’s how it works.

How iPadFeatures works

Some apps don’t enable landscape mode by default and it’s disabled entirely on the home page. This is where this new tweak comes in.

iPadFeatures Cydia tweak forces landscape orientation on all applications and the home page. It is developed by tweak developer Squ1dd13, who is a newcomer on the jailbreak scene.

It works with each and every application including popular ones such as Spotify. This is because it edits system files, unlike Flex patches that only work for a specific application.

Here’s how it looks like in action.

Remember, you must disable the rotation lock in order to make use of this tweak.

Once you install it, there are no options that you need to configure. Interestingly, the developer accidentally stumbled upon this tweak accidentally while tinkering around with his jailbroken iPhone.

He was actually updating another one of his tweak and this when he enabled a Boolean value by mistake. He then decided to turn it into a jailbreak tweak and release it for the jailbreak community.

Every once in a while we come across an app that doesn’t have landscape mode enabled. Therefore, this is an absolute must-have for all iPhone owners. Recommended.

iPadFeatures is available for download on BigBoss Cydia and repo for free. It is compatible only with iOS 10.
