Just about a week ago, Apple seeded iOS 10.3 Beta 3 for developers. Just a few moments ago, Apple has released iOS 10.3 Beta 4. Registered developers can now download and install the latest beta.
This update to iOS 10.3 is slightly larger in size at 440 MB for iPhone 7 plus. The third iOS 10 update not only has bug fixes and performance improvements but also new functionality.
The biggest innovation of iOS 10.3 is the Find My AirPods feature. It allows you to find your lost AirPods easily. In addition, Apple has implemented iOS 10.3 on a completely new file system called APFS (Apple File System).
It also brings several improvements for Siri, Weather app, CarPlay and HomeKit.
The final version is expected after a few weeks. You can expect it by the end of March. The last betas have shown that most of the functionality will now be implemented.
This might as well be the last release of iOS 10 as Apple is working on iOS 11. This new firmware will come loaded on the new iPhone and iPad models.
The best way to update is using the “over the air” update directly.
