How TypeStatus Works
TypeStatus Cydia tweak adds a slick iMessage “Typing” and “Reading” indicator to your Status bar. This is very useful for those for avid iMessage users who send tons of messages every day. It helps you stay in the loop and know who is typing a message and when.
TypeStatus 2 also lets you enable or disable typing and read receipt notifications sent from your device.
Here’s what this tweak looks like in action.
This version brings several changes –
- You can now globally disable sending typing notifications.
- libstatus9 is now the status bar support package on iOS 9.1 firmware and above.
- Improved compatibility with Classic Folders 2.
- Updates to various translations.
This tweak also has a premium version (TypeStatus Plus) that is rather buggy at the moment.
Download TypeStatus 2
If you want to add a new feature to your iOS setup, download and install the tweak. This tweak has always been buggy but it brings something new to the table. Recommended.
