What is Trident Jailbreak?
Trident is a jailbreak tool for iOS 9.3-9.3.4 developed by KJC Dev Team. The main developer working on this tool is jk9357, who has also developed Home Depot jailbreak tool.
Trident iOS 9 jailbreak only supports iOS 9.3.x on 32-bit devices. It can be used up to iOS 9.3.4 but not on iOS 9.3.5 because Apple has closed the security vulnerabilities used by thistool.
It also supports many iOS 9 versions on several old devices.
This jailbreak is in beta for now and hence may have stability issues. Its source code is also available publicly on Github.
Which Devices are Compatible with Trident Jailbreak?
Here’s the complete list of devices that are supported by this jailbreak tool.

How to Jailbreak iOS 9 with Trident Jailbreak
Step 1 Download the Trident IPA file from the link given above.
Step 2 Launch Cydia Impactor tool.
Step 3 Install the Trident IPA package with Cydia Impactor using a computer. If you don’t know how to use Cydia Impactor, follow this tutorial to learn how to use Cydia Impactor tool.
Step 4 After Trident is installed successfully, it will install a wallpaper to prove that it works.
Step 5 Go to Settings > Wallpaper > Choose a new wallpaper and check if there is a new wallpaper like the one given below. If the Home Depot wallpaper is present, your device has been jailbroken successfully.
There are still two issues to be fixed – support for Cydia and Substrate (the basic library of tweaks) is not added as of yet. Developer jk9357 will soon add support for Cydia.
Did you use Trident Jailbreak?
I do not recommend you use Trident jailbreak beta yet. However, if you have a backup device lying around, go ahead and test this tool. Many users are reporting that it works but some users can not find the wallpaper.
