SwitcherCC – Control Center in App Switcher

Another day, another tweak. This tweak aims to bring useful and aesthetic improvements for your App Switcher. Here’s how it works.

How SwitcherCC Works

SwitcherCC Cydia tweak brings a revamped App Switcher your app switcher to bring you more functionality. It is developed by newbie tweak developer Skittyblock.

Once you install it, App Switcher will not cover the entire screen rather it will be confined to the upper half. The tweak then utilizes the remaining space to add a “mini” version of Control Center.

Here’s how it looks like in action.

This mini version of Control Center has three sections, each of which provides a different set of features. Here’s a list of what each section is meant for.

  • Controls – Settings, quick launch toggles, and brightness slider.
  • Air buttons – Airplay, airdrop, and night shift buttons.
  • Music – A mini version of CC music page.

All these features make it the perfect alternative for Lylac Cydia tweak, which doesn’t work on iOS 10.

It is compatible with the following Cydia tweaks –

  • FlipCC
  • Polus
  • Noctis
  • Masq

Remember, it doesn’t offer support for tweaks that “resize” the CC such as MiniCC, Horseshoe, Onizuka, etc.

It would be perfect if the developer adds the ability to rearrange pages and swipe gesture. As far as I know, the developer intends to include this functionality in future updates.

You can control how it works from its Settings section.
