Another day, another tweak. This new tweak aims to make you aware of your notifications in an ingenious manner. Here’s how it works.

How BLightAlert works

Admit it, we all get bored after listening to the same notification alert each time. If you have a jailbroken device, you can easily change it using the alerts using this new tweak.

BLightAlert Cydia tweak increases the brightness of your screen for a brief moment as soon as a notification arrives. It is developed by eminent tweak developer and cracker Julioverne.

Its functionality is fairly simple – replace sounds and vibrations with a brightness transition. Here’s a video demonstration of this tweak.

I was unable to take a screenshot since brightness is not visible. The only way left was to make a video.

Once you install it, you can configure all its various options from its Settings section. Although it’s a free tweak, it comes with a plethora of options to customize the brightness exactly how you like.

Here are all the Settings you can change –

• Enable or disable this tweak
• Enable for select applications
• Use in “Do Not Disturb” mode
• Duration
• Range
• Set minimum and maximum brightness
• Use Activator gestures

This is a solid tweak that will be beneficial to users who often use the Do Not Disturb mode. Even if you don’t use DND as often, it’s still a good effect to have stay mindful of your notifications. Highly recommended.
