Today we have some good news for you. Yalu Jailbreak‘s developer Luca Todesco has tweeted that a solution for the 7-day certificate is under development. It should be available within a week or two from now.
To use Yalu jailbreak, it is necessary to use Cydia Impactor tool to install an unofficial IPA package. Cydia Impactor generates an individual certificate from the user’s Apple ID.
For developer accounts, this certificate is valid for one year and is therefore not much of a problem. On the other hand, for individuals, it is necessary to renew the certificate every 7 days.
Performing this every week can be tedious.
According to Jay Freeman aka Saurik, a tool for automatic renewal of digital signature is under development. You will no longer need to repeat the re-jailbreak procedure every week via Cydia Impactor.
iOS Impactor Release Date
Saurik and Luca did not disclose the name of the upcoming tool to avoid attracting the attention of hecklers on Twitter. According to some users, it will called iOS Impactor and will work exactly like Cydia Impactor.
Here’s what this new tool could look like.
Here’s a tweet by Luca that confirms this.
A solution for the 7 day cert is seemingly in the works, so please bear with Cydia Impactor for another week or so.

This tool will more likely extend the certificate for a period of 1 year. If such a tool is released, it will make your jailbreak completely untethered.
Even though a release date hasn’t been confirmed, let’s hope it gets rolled out quickly.
