Download iOS 11.4 final for iPhone, iPad, and iPod

After six beta releases, Apple has finally seeded the final version of iOS 11.4. Download it for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch below.

What’s new in iOS 11.4 final?

Since this is the final firmware update for iOS 11.4, you can expect a lot of changes. The two notable changes in this version are –

• AirPlay 2 – The latest AirPlay protocol by Apple improves a lot upon its predecessor. It is the most advanced wireless multi-room audio system that provides users a seamless music streaming experience.
• Messages in iCloud – Stores and synchronize your messages with iCloud.

Apart from these innovations, iOS 11.4 final version also brings much-needed stability and performance improvements.

This is a public release and is downloadable via OTA (over-the-air) update on your Apple device. Simply go to Settings > General > Software Update and tap “update”.

For those of you who prefer to clean install a new firmware, download the IPSW firmware file below and update using iTunes.

Along with this iOS update, Apple has also released watchOS 4.3.1 and tvOS 11.4 firmware updates.

Should you upgrade?

If you are interested in jailbreaking, the answer is, of course, no.

However, if you always stay on the latest firmware version for better security and features, by all means, upgrade your device now.
