CCVPN – Control Center toggle for VPN

Another day, another tweak. CCVPN brings the highly anticipated VPN toggle to iOS 11. Download it for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch below.

How CCVPN works

iOS 11 Control Center improves a lot upon its predecessor but falls short in some areas.

For example, you can’t add custom modules or toggles such as VPN or vibration that should be readily available. This is where this new tweak comes in.

CCVPN Cydia tweak adds a VPN toggle to Control Center on iOS 11. It is developed by veteran tweak developer King Puff daddy.

Here’s how this tweak looks like in action.

Of course, you must have a VPN profile installed on your device to make use of this toggle. I am currently using VPN Master as my go-to VPN app.

Though I am an Opera fan, I had to make the switch since Opera VPN was discontinued a few days back.

CCVPN doesn’t come with a settings section. Therefore, you must enable it from the Settings manually.

To add the toggle, you must go to the stock “Control Centre” section in Settings and tap the required option.

Once you add the toggle, simply tap on it to route all your traffic through the VPN. Remember, you will experience a slight delay (2-3 seconds) before the VPN toggle turns on.

This tweak is an absolute must-have if you happen to use a VPN app on your Apple device. Highly recommended.

The only missing feature of this tweak is a 3D Touch list that lets you enable any VPN if you multiple VPN apps.

Before you download this tweak, be sure to install CCSupport core package from BigBoss repo. CCSupport is a dependency that allows you to add custom toggles to the Control Center.

CCVPN is available for download on BigBoss repo for free. It is compatible with iOS 11.
