Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team just demonstrated a new jailbreak for iOS 12 Beta at MOSEC 2018. Here’s all you need to know about it.

iOS 12 Beta jailbroken by 360 Vulcan Team
Although Apple has yet to push a public version of its latest operating system, Chinese hackers already possess a remote jailbreak.
Plenty of hackers gave talks and presentations at MOSEC 2018 but JailbreakMe by Qihoo 360 Vulcan Team really stood out from the rest.
Surprisingly, the team only demonstrated jailbreak tools only for the first beta build of iOS 12.0 and iOS 11.4 firmware.
360 Vulcan team also thanked Team Pangu and Jonathan Levin aka Morpheus for their efforts.
Here’s a video demonstration of the Vulcan JailbreakMe.

The lead researcher of the team, “SorryMyBad”, first launches Safari web browser and then opens the “jailbreak website”. As soon as he presses the “jailbreak go” button, the webpage injects the exploit and the springboard restarts.
The hacker then opens Cydia (non-functional) and enters commands in the Terminal to ensure that the jailbreak succeeded.
For those who don’t know, remote or web-based tools don’t rely on a special sideloaded app to jailbreak an iPhone.
All you need to have is internet access and a vulnerable web-browser (Safari) that can inject the exploit.
MOSEC 2018 Highlights
As mentioned above, MOSEC 2018 hacking conference was graced by some of the renowned names in the iOS security community.
Google Project Zero researcher Ian Beer, independent hacker Xerub, and Yalu jailbreak developer Luca Todesco gave talks on specific areas of iOS exploitation.

What next?
Vulcan Team’s remote jailbreak tool, though very user-friendly, will never be released publicly.
Professional hacking teams only jailbreak for demonstration purposes and their goal is never to install and run Cydia tweaks on their iPhone.
iOS 12 is still in beta development stage and Apple will require a few months to push a stable build.
This means any of the exploits or jailbreak tools demonstrated in this conference could go out of commision within a few weeks.

No, I do not want to restore it, you misunderstood, I was just saying if it was possible to install a tweak (when Electra will be out) to change the resolution and put it in 5s, it would give me as in 5s or not? saw that i use houdini by changing the resolution to iPhone 8
Yes, you will be able to do that.
hello, I change the resolution of my iphone 5s iphone 8, how to put back as before ??? I did it with houdini beta3r1. thank you
Follow this guide.
ok thank you, but if I leave the resolution of the iPhone 8 on my 5s, is that when Electra will go out I could still install it ???
Yes, you will be able to install it.
otherwise is it possible once the jailbreak Electra went out to install a tweak to change the resolution and put the resolution of the 5s sa will work or not? it will become as before, because I change resolution with houdini, it will be nice that you answer
