What is SemiRestore10-Lite?

This new utility allows you to restores your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch running iOS 10 to a clean state without losing your jailbreak.

Your device can go back to the stock firmware while still keeping the jailbreak.

It will remove all Cydia tweaks along with Coolstar’s Stashing for iOS 10. A better alternative to this tool is the OSRestoreX utility which does the same thing automatically but is less safer.

Basically, it cleans up your jailbreak. It will be just like new with nothing on it.

It works on-device meaning you don’t require a computer to use it. You just need MTerminal and Filza to use it.

Is SemiRestore10 Lite Safe to Install?

Yes, it is totally safe to install and run. It does not delete your applications, other data and Settings of your device.

I will do a full comparison between Cydia Eraser, OSRestoreX and this tool. This will allow you choose the tool that best suits you.

Remember, it is not an alternative for Cydia Eraser. Here’s the main difference between Cydia Eraser and SemiRestore10 Lite utilities.

How to Use CoolStar’s SemiRestore10-Lite on iOS 10

Step 1 Launch Safari and download SemiRestore10-Lite from the direct download link above.

Step 2 Open the downloaded file using Filza file manager.

Step 3 Filza will then save the downloaded binary file to the documents folder.

Step 4 Fire up MTerminal terminal emulator and enter the following commands one by one. If you have changed your password, be sure to use that instead of “alpine”.

chmod +x SemiRestore10-Lite
./SemiRestore10-Lite

Step 5 Wait for it to finish the restore process.
