iPad Sales Rise Again, thanks to the new iPad Pro

Yesterday, Apple reported its third quarter earnings and they have been making a killing. Surprisingly, all this has happened without their new flagship device on sale.

After 3 years of decline, iPad sales are finally rising. has been the driving force behind. Apple sold a whopping 11.42 million tablets from April to June.

This is a massive improvement as compared to the third quarter of 2016. Back in 2016, they failed miserably and didn’t even sell 10 million tablets.

The numbers will only improve once Apple launches iOS 11 in September. iPad users will receive tons of new features in iOS 11 – drag and drop functionality, file management, infinite dock, etc.

Well-balanced tablet lineup

In June, they launched two new models of the iPad Pro that come in 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch variants. These tablets come with powerful processors, better resolution, ProMotion technology, etc.

Along with the iPad Pro, Apple also launched a low-cost iPad at the price of $329. As a result, this well-balanced lineup allowed customers to purchase according to their budget.

Apple has been trying to replace their Mac series with tablets. As is evident, this move paid rich dividends and made Apple more money than ever.
