Apple rides the iPad wave
After 3 years of decline, iPad sales are finally rising. has been the driving force behind. Apple sold a whopping 11.42 million tablets from April to June.
This is a massive improvement as compared to the third quarter of 2016. Back in 2016, they failed miserably and didn’t even sell 10 million tablets.
The numbers will only improve once Apple launches iOS 11 in September. iPad users will receive tons of new features in iOS 11 – drag and drop functionality, file management, infinite dock, etc.
Well-balanced tablet lineup
In June, they launched two new models of the iPad Pro that come in 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch variants. These tablets come with powerful processors, better resolution, ProMotion technology, etc.
Along with the iPad Pro, Apple also launched a low-cost iPad at the price of $329. As a result, this well-balanced lineup allowed customers to purchase according to their budget.
Apple has been trying to replace their Mac series with tablets. As is evident, this move paid rich dividends and made Apple more money than ever.
Apple has been surely riding the iPad wave but will they be able to continue it?
