What’s new in iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3?
iOS 12.1.1 comes with a build number of 16C5050a and weighs around 100MB on compatible devices. This beta update fixes a pesky user interface bug that left the app icons blurred in the app switcher’s background.
Other than that, this beta seed brings nothing new to the table – so far at least. By the looks of it, iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3 is an update that doesn’t bring any new features or enhancements apart from patches and improvements.
You can grab this update using the links given below if you aren’t enrolled in Apple’s developer program.
If, however, you have a paid developer certificate, you can get this update from the “Downloads” section of Apple Developer Center.

Should you update?
Unless your device is affected by the user interface bug mentioned above, you can safely skip this update.
If you are worried about your device’s security, all previous beta builds of iOS 12.1.1 already check certificate transparency logs so there’s nothing you need to worry about.
If you are an avid jailbreaker, I would recommend steering clear of iOS 12.1.1 Beta 3 as well as any forthcoming versions. Stay on iOS 12.0.1 or below to maximize your chances of receive a jailbreak in the future.
