CCRecord Cydia Tweak – Free Screen Recorder for iOS 10

Some third-party applications allow you to make screen recordings on iPhone or iPad. If you have a jailbroken device, you can use the new tweak CCRecord compatible iOS 10.

CCRecord allows you to quickly record everything that is on the screen of your iPhone and iPad. The tweak adds “Record” button to the context menu of the Control Center, which upon tapping will immediately start recording the screen. Once you want to stop recording, you can tap the same button again.

This tweak is very lightweight and de-cluttered. While some tweaks adds lots of configuration options, CCRecord simply integrates the record button in the Control Center and offers no additional functionality.

Captured videos are stored in the photo gallery and the user can access them through Photos app.  This nifty little tweak also includes the ability to record audio.

If you are interested in this tweak, you can download it for free via Cydia store. Make sure you have done the jailbreak on your device running iOS 10.

The developer has promised to make several updates in the future to improve this tweak and make it compatible with iOS 9. As of yet, it is not compatible with iOS 9.
