Another day, another tweak. This new tweak aims to customize the Status bar time entry. Here’s how it works.

How AdvancedStatusTime Works

By default, the Status Bar in iOS 10 firmware only displays the time. There’s always room for adding some other data along with the time. This is where AdvancedStatusTime comes in.

AdvancedStatusTime Cydia tweak allows you to customize the time entry in the Status Bar. It is developed by tweak developer Maxwell Lang.

This tweak hooks into iOS 10’s native date functions. This allows you to customize and set time and date in a more detailed manner. It displays the date along with the day.

It also displays the current time and the time zone moniker.

You can choose the date format according to the cheat sheet present in the tweak.

All options are configurable from its Settings section.

This tweak is good for users who want additional details in their Status bar. Other than that, I don’t find much use for it. If you want this specific functionality, you can buy this tweak, otherwise, give it a pass.

AdvancedStatusTime is available for download on BigBoss Cydia repo for $0.99. It is compatible with iOS 10.
