How Hydrogen works

Admit it, the stock WiFi and data bars begin to get boring after a while. Thankfully, jailbroken users have a plethora of options to customize their Status bar. One such way is using this new jailbreak tweak.

Hydrogen Cydia tweak is a complete signal and data icon customization suite for iOS. It is developed by tweak developer CreativeBeing.

It’s very user-friendly unlike Lithium Ion and requires just a few taps to get going. Here’s how it looks like in action.

Here’s the complete list of all its features –

• Set custom signal and data icons
• Set custom colors
• Set custom RSSI db levels
• Add your own custom themes manually

Once you install it, you can configure its various options from the Settings area.

It works exactly like Lithium Ion and imports a lot of signal icon themes from it. Apart from that, you can also add your own custom themes.

Here’s the exact location where the themes are stored – /Library/Application Support/Hydrogen/SignalThemes/.

The developer also intends to push this tweak on BigBoss Cydia repository in the future. If you want to install a more polished release, you can wait till it gets on BigBoss.
