How NotifyWiFi10 Works

When you turn on your WiFi, your iOS device can automatically connect to free public wireless LAN or to an unknown or insecure network. While this may not matter to the average user, it’s a potential security hazard nevertheless.

If you have a jailbroken device, you are in luck as you can use various tweaks to mitigate this risk. NotifyWiFi10 is one such Cydia tweak.

NotifyWiFi10 Cydia tweak is a complete WiFi Change notification system. It is developed by renowned Japanese tweak developer Ichitaso.

This tweak maintains 2 lists of WiFi SSIDs (Service Set Identifier) – Whitelist, and Blacklist.

• When you connect to a whitelisted SSID, your WiFi will remain on and you will not receive a notification.
• When you connect to a blacklisted SSID, your WiFi will be turned off automatically.

You can go to the Settings section by tapping this notification. Remember, when you connect to the same SSID (you will not receive a notification unless executed from Activator.
