Apple has just seeded iOS 11.2.5 beta 3 to authorized developers. Here’s how you can download and install it on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

What’s new in iOS 11.2.5 beta 3?

This beta version weighs about 131MB on iPhone X via OTA.

Although it fixes many bugs, it also contains a few annoying bugs. Several users are reporting that it disables sounds from notifications and, in some cases, the entire system as well.

Moreover, the system sounds such as the dial pad sounds are way too loud as compared to previous versions. A temporary fix for this problem is to lower the sound level from the Control Center.

This will ensure the notification sounds remain low and don’t make you deaf.

Along with this update, Apple has also released tvOS 11.2.5 Beta 3 and watchOS 4.2.2 beta 3.

Should I update?

No, there’s no plausible reason as to why anyone would want to update to such a buggy build right now.

If you are interested in a jailbreak, stick to iOS 11.1.2 and lower versions only. For those of you who want stability and security, update to iOS 11.2.1, not to 11.2.5 beta.

I highly recommend downgrading to iOS 11.2.1 if you are on iOS 11.2.5 beta firmware.
