Gorgone Tweak – Enable SplitView and SlideOver on Unsupported Devices

Gorgone is a new free tweak available on Cydia. It brings the SplitView and SlideOver features to jailbroken iPhone and iPod devices.

These features were reserved only for iPad thus far. Users of iPad Pro, iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad mini 4, iPad mini 3 and iPad mini 2 were able to enjoy it. iPhone, iPhone Plus, iPod Touch and all older iPads are fully compatible with Gorgone.

With this slick tweak, you can use two applications at the same time on your device’s screen. Slide the right edge toward the device to activate one of the modes.

This tweak does have a shortcoming though. It rotates every app, even those that have the orientation lock enabled. A rotating home screen is something most users would not like. To fix this, you can use a flex patch.

It would be great if this tweak had an up-down split screen instead of the left-right one.
