What’s new in iOS 11.2.5 beta 4?

This beta update weighs around 152MB on iPhone X so it’s a minor update. It fixes the annoying keyboard volume bug.

This bug caused the keyboard keystroke volume to blow up to very high levels. You can now safely unmute your device’s sound.

Apart from that, there are no new fixes or improvements in this update. Some users are also speculating that beta 4 contains mitigation measures for Spectre exploits.

Should I update?

As always, I suggest upgrading to those who want to stay secure and plug all the bugs as soon as possible. iOS 11 has a lot of bugs and you must update to the latest beta quickly as when it drops.

If you are already on iOS 11.2, you should stick to it and hope a jailbreak drops for it in the coming months.

Currently, this beta version is only available to developers. Apple will soon roll out this update for the general public as well very soon.

What are you going to do now – stick to iOS 11.2 or upgrade to iOS 11.2.5 beta 4?. Leave your replies below.
