Why did UnlimApps remove YouTube++?
YouTube++, the most popular hacked iOS app for YouTube, has been missing in action for the past two weeks.
You can no longer download or install it from Cydia source of UnlimApps. All other ++ applications such as Instagram++ and WhatsApp++ are still going strong.
Surprisingly, the app hasn’t been updated for iOS 11 even though all other ++ apps now support iOS 11.
UnlimApps, the developer of this app, has yet to provide an official statement regarding its removal.
Here are a few alternatives that you can now that this app won’t work anymore.
- Warning – Remember, most of these alternative apps require you to have functional Cydia so all iOS 11 versions are effectively ruled out in this case.

Ironically, it’s still the best alternative of itself.

If you don’t have a jailbreak, you can grab the sideload-able version of YouTube++ here.
This is a sideload-able version, which means you can install it just like you install jailbreak tools. Simply fire up Cydia Impactor and drag this IPA file onto its window to install it.
It is pretty much a carbon copy of the ++ app. Moreover, its latest version, v184.108.40.206, integrates perfectly with the latest YouTube update and also has a dark mode.
You can download it via Cydia from Majd Alfhaily’s Cydia repo – apt.alfhaily.me.
Although ProTube is no longer present on the official iOS App Store, it continues to enchant jailbreakers with its killer features.
You can download it from BigBoss Cydia repository if you have a functional jailbreak like yalu102 or g0blin jailbreak.
