How WakeTunes works
WakeTunes Cydia tweak activates the display each time the now playing song changes. It is developed by tweak developer Youssef Mikhail.
What this does is allow you to a quick look at the song that will now start playing. Previously, users were also able to do this via Activator as well. However, Activator actions are not always reliable and it’s great to have a standalone tweak.
Once you download and install it, you can configure its options from the Settings area.
Since this a simple tweak, it has just three options –
- Enable/Disable
- Enable during Low Power mode
- Respring
By default, it is disabled during low power mode but you can enable this option from its Settings section.

This is a good free tweak that must be present on all iOS devices. Recommended.
The developer will add more features such as activate only when using headphones, Bluetooth, etc. He also intends to open source all his tweaks just for helping the community.
WakeTunes is available for download on BigBoss Cydia repo for free. It is compatible with iOS 9 and 10.
