How to Check/Verify if your SHSH2 Blobs are Valid

Avid modders must have saved SHSH2 blobs for iOS 10.2 or earlier versions of iOS 10. Now you can easily check whether they are valid or not too. We will be using developer 1Conan’s website to verify our blobs. The process is very simple and easy for newbies and advanced users alike.

Note that hacker Thimstar has also recently updated TSSChecker for the iPhone 7.

SHSH2 Blobs Errors [FAQ]

Having problems verifying your SHSH2 blobs, here are some frequently asked questions (FAQ).

Q. Can I use this tool on my iPhone? I am not on my PC at the moment.

A. Yes. Just make sure your blobs are backed up on Dropbox/Google Drive and you’ll be good to go.

Q. There are a lot of files in the folder where my shsh2 blobs are backed up. Do I need to verify all files?

A. No, there’s no need to do that. If one of them is valid then all of them are valid. It’s as simple as that :).

Q. TSS Saver website says “rosi tag” not found. Are my shsh blobs corrupt?

A. No, your SHSH2 blobs are likely fine. 32-bit devices do not have the “rosi tag”.

Q. Some jailbreak community members are saying “you can’t backup your SHSH2 blobs any more”. Is this true?

A. No, you can still save your SHSH2 blobs (using TSS Checker) but only for iOS versions that Apple is currently signing. Follow the complete tutorial here.

Q. My iOS device is running iOS 10.1. If I backup my blobs now, will they only work for iOS 10.2?

A. Yes, those blobs will work only for iOS 10.2 in this scenario.

Q. I get “rosi tag” found but my ECID is wrong?

A. You are just inputting the wrong ECID.
