Luca Todesco’s Yalu jailbreak for iOS 10.2 is now stable and compatible with every 64-bit device (except iPhone 7).
Update (March 3, 2017) – Jonathan Levin has rolled out LiberTV jailbreak for Apple TV 4G. Follow the complete tutorial.
A few days ago, we told you Apple TV could get a jailbreak since Yalu’s exploit was still working.
Now hacker and developer Jonathan Levin is reportedly working on an tvOS 10 jailbreak. Here’s a tweet that confirms this.
He also attached a screenshot of a piece of code accessing the kernel memory.

Who will use this Jailbreak?
The main concern is that tvOS 10.1 is no longer signed by Apple. Even if a jailbreak tool for tvOS 10 is released, not many people will be to use it.
So, if you want to jailbreak your Apple TV 4, stay under/at tvOS 10.1.
tvOS 10 Jailbreak uses Yalu’s exploit
Levin is using Yalu102’s exploits available on Github to jailbreak tvOS 10.1. According to him, a jailbreak of tvOS 10.1 is certainly possible. However, it would still be necessary to code a tool from the ground up.
Either Levin will release a working tool or he will help Luca Todesco to make Yalu compatible with the Apple TV 4 running tvOS 10.1.
