iOS 8.4.1 is all set to receive a jailbreak soon more than 2 years after its official release! Here’s when you can download it.
Tihmstar runs Cydia on iOS 8.4.1
Hacker and tweak developer Tihmstar has lately become the dark horse of the jailbreak community. He has recently been developing jailbreaks for 32-bit iOS devices with great success.
Apparently, he now has iOS 8.4.1 firmware in his crosshairs after iOS 9.3.5. Here’s the image the German hacker posted online.

According to this picture, he is using an iPhone 5c running iOS 8.4.1 firmware. This suggests an iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak is not too far away now.
Tihmstar doesn’t develop exploits based on security vulnerabilities, he uses existing exploits for his jailbreak tools. This means he might also create a jailbreak for iOS 10.3.x for 32-bit devices very soon.
iOS 8.4.1 Jailbreak Release Date
An iOS 8.4.1 jailbreak can drop anytime now. I guess the developers are still testing the jailbreak app and making sure it runs on all devices without hiccups. Therefore, I would peg the estimated time of arrival at a week.
As always, a beta version will drop and subsequently a final version that fixes all the bugs and errors
I have already explained why it’s so important to have a jailbreak for iOS 8.4.1. Would you be using this tool once it drops? Leave your comments below.
