What is Sp1ral?
Sp1ral is a GUI-based jailbreak tool that automatically jailbreaks your device running a compatible firmware. It is developed by Lazy Dev Team member, Hacks4Live.
This tool takes its name from Spirit jailbreak
It is not a jailbreak tool per se, it utilizes existing jailbreak tools and utilities and then executes them. This means that your device must be running a firmware that is already compatible with existing tools.
Here’s how it works –
- The user selects the iOS version from the selection menu.
- Sp1ral reads the input and begins downloading Cydia Impactor along with the appropriate IPA.
- It then runs Cydia Impactor and automatically sideloads the jailbreak app.
Here’s how you can use it on your iOS device. I will be demonstrating how it works using my iPad mini on iOS 9.3.5.
