What is Source?
Source is an iOS helper app designed for modern Apple devices. It is developed by renowned sideload community developer, Mason.
You can use it to access your device info at the click of a button. Apart from that, you can also use it to install tweaks on your jailbroken device.
Here’s the list of information this app fetches from your device –
- Name
- Model
- iOS
- Total Storage
- Used Storage
- Free Storage
- UUID
- Battery Percentage
- LAN (SSH)
- Wi-Fi Network (SSID)
- Jailbreak status
If you are looking for a helper app, I recommend installing it. Just follow the installation tutorial to get started.

How to install Source on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod
Step 1 Download the IPA file from the link above. This IPA file is currently not available for download from an installer so you must have a computer to go through with the installation process.
Step 2 Fire up Cydia Impactor and drag this IPA file onto its window.
Step 3 Enter your Apple ID and password.
Step 4 Once the app appears on your home screen, open it. It will greet you with a tutorial on how to use Source and install tweaks on your iOS device.
Step 5 Go to the iDevice to access advanced information about your iPhone, iPad, or iPod.
Step 6 If you want to install tweaks, tap on Tweaks. You can install a few Cydia tweaks like Activator, Anemone, Barrel, and BatteryLife if you are running AppSync.
Step 7 The Settings section has a “Fetch UDID” option and a dark mode option. The dark mode is currently broken and will hopefully become functional in a future update.
