RealCC – Disable Wifi and Bluetooth from Control Center in iOS 11

Another day, another tweak. This new tweak aims to bring a very useful feature to iOS 11. You can download RealCC tweak using the link below.

How RealCC works

When you switch off Wifi from the Control Center, it still keeps running in the background for other services. This just disconnects from your current network and it automatically reconnects later on. The same holds true for Bluetooth as well.

To completely disable Wifi and Bluetooth, you must navigate to Settings and then turn them off completely. This is where this new tweak comes in.

RealCC Cydia tweak lets you fully disable Wifi and Bluetooth straight from the Control Center. It is developed by hacker and tweak developer, Jake James.

Here’s a video demonstration of this tweak.

Once you install this tweak, you no longer need to go to Settings just to disable Wifi/Bluetooth.

Although you can access the Wifi and Bluetooth settings quickly with the 3D Touch, that’s still cumbersome as opposed to disabling directly from the Control Center.

With this tweak, all you need to do is tap a few buttons and you are good to go.

This tweak is a great usability-enhancer and I suggest downloading it if you haven’t already. Recommended.

There’s another reason why I recommend installing this tweak – it will allow you to inadvertently save your iPhone’s battery.

Since turning your Wifi or Bluetooth off is a lengthy process in vanilla iOS, you might end up keeping it enabled for long hours.

As you already know, battery backup is at a premium when you have a jailbroken device. Disabling background services that you are no longer in use will help prevent unnecessary battery drain.

RealCC is available for download on Jake’s private repository (jakeashacks.com/cydia/). It is compatible with iOS 11 on all devices up till iPhone X.
