With a large button at the bottom, you can instantly access all frequently used functions. The browser is also inspired by the experimental browser Opera Neon, which was released in 2017.

Opera Touch – a new web browser designed for large smartphones

Smartphones are getting bigger and bigger, as is also the case this year with the new 6.5-inch iPhone XS Max. This increase in size makes it more difficult to operate apps with one hand.

However, with the new browser Opera Touch, single-hand use will become a lot easier on your iPhone.

Fast Action Button

At the bottom of the browser, there’s a “Fast Action” Button that lets you immediately search the web, open your favorite websites, close, refresh and switch tabs.

The button is always located at the bottom in the middle so that it stays within reach.

Flow

Another important feature of Opera Touch is Flow. This allows you to forward a page directly to the Opera desktop browser. It is not necessary to log in with an account in both browsers and all you have to do is scan a QR code.

You send any web page to your Flow overview. Apart from websites, it also works with text and images. You can also quickly open a page on your iPhone that you already have open on your computer, and vice versa.

Desktop synchronization enhancements

For Opera’s desktop browser to work together with Opera Touch, it has been redesigned earlier this year. For example, there is a faster search function that you can use with a shortcut on your keyboard.

You can immediately enter a search term in the appropriate search bar with a few clicks.

The second innovation is the previously discussed Flow function, with which you can send everything to and from your iPhone. It’s an alternative to AirDrop, SHAREit, and other sharing services.
