Does Meridian support Cydia tweaks yet?
Developer Ben Sparkes ported Substitute to Meridian jailbreak on iOS 10-10.3.3. This tool now supports quite a few Cydia tweaks, especially those that modify the Springboard.
With that said, all the compatibility is useless for the end user right now. This reason behind this is that the Substitute build of Meridian is currently private and developer-only.
Therefore, you can’t use this new version, unless and until the developer makes it public.
You can check out all the supported tweaks below and take notes of what you can use. This will ensure your device will be ready beforehand once a full update rolls out.
Here’s what the various terms mentioned below mean –
- Fully compatible – Packages present under this section have no issues and require no additional modifications.
- Partially compatible – Packages present under this section require prior modifications to make them work. These changes may include signing the requisite binaries, adding the necessary entitlements, or creating the appropriate installation directories.
- Incompatible – Packages present under this section do not work on iOS 10-10.3.3 and can potentially brick your device.
- Untested – Packages present under this section are packages that developers are yet to test.
- Paid packages – Packages present under this section are commercial and, hence, developers can’t use them without purchasing a valid license.
