Another day, another tweak. LockAnim brings cool new lock animations to your device. You can download this new tweak for your iPhone or iPad below.
How LockAnim works
Admit it, the stock lock animation of Apple devices running iOS 11 is rather bland. If you are waiting for Apple to add new ways for you to unlock your device à la Android, you might have to wait forever. That is where this new tweak comes in.
LockAnim adds new lock animations to your iPhone and iPad. It is developed by the eminent developer and cracker Julio Verne.
It comes loaded with a total of ten different animations, each of which is capable of replacing the stock locking animation.
Here’s a video demonstration of this tweak.

Just like other tweaks by Julio, LockAnim comes with a comprehensive preferences area. Here’s how what each of these options does and how you can set them up.
- Enabled (on) – Enables the functionality of the tweak.
- Animation (TV Off) – Activates the animation that will replace the stock lock animation. My favorite animation is “TV Off”, which reminds me of my old Sony Xperia Tipo.
- Speed slider (0.50) – Adjusts the speed of your device’s locking animation. Set it as 0.50, which is also the default value, to ensure your Apple device doesn’t lock too quickly.
- Reset Settings – Resets the settings to stock. This option is useful if you intend to uninstall this tweak. from your device and go back to the stock animation. Just make sure you don’t press this button by accident or else you will lose your current animation.

The only setting that was missing from its older versions was a speed slider for the animations. As always, Julio was quick to add this feature in the latest version.
LockAnim is available for download on Julio’s repo (http://julioverne.github.io) for free. It is compatible with iOS 11.
