iPhone X has been jailbroken!
Liang Chen, renowned iOS hacker and KeenLab member, has done it again! He recently demonstrated an iPhone X jailbreak for iOS 11.1.1 firmware.
Chen demonstrated his iOS 11 jailbreak at the POC2017 security conference in Seoul, Korea. Interestingly, this conference focuses on the security research community and doesn’t share exploits with billion-dollar companies.
Here’s a video of KeenLab’s demonstration.
Keen Lab jailbreaks iPhone X on iOS 11.1.1

In this demonstration, Liang utilizes the same jailbreak app he used in his iOS 10.3.2 and iOS 11 developer beta jailbreak. The device used is an iPhone X running the latest iOS 11.1.1 firmware version.
This proves that the iPhone X can certainly be jailbroken despite hardened security.
According to my estimate, a jailbreak for iPhone X can easily fetch the hackers a whopping 2 million USD and I am being conservative here.
If they make public their exploits or security vulnerabilities, it will pave the way for future jailbreak development for iOS 11 firmware.
Will KeenLab release iOS 11 jailbreak?
As you already know, KeenLab is a private security research team and not a jailbreak development team.
They work for money and don’t release anything for the jailbreak community. With that being said, they must have something in mind since they have been demonstrating one jailbreak after another.
Perhaps they are waiting for a stable firmware version to release a tool? iOS 11.1.1 is the most stable firmware version of Apple at present.
So who knows they might just go on and release something for us.
