Apple just seeded the third beta of iOS 12.1.3 to registered developers. Here’s how you can download and install this update on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

What’s new in iOS 12.1.3 Beta 3?

It seems like the holidays are over in Cupertino. However, Apple’s developers haven’t quite wakened up from their holiday slumber as iOS 12.1.3 Beta 3 brings only minor enhancements and bug fixes.

Its build number is 16D5037a and it weighs around 150MB on all compatible Apple devices.

Registered developers can access this update through the Apple Developer Center.

If, however, you aren’t enrolled in Apple’s developer program, you can get this update using the OTA Profile given below. Alternatively, you can upgrade with the firmware files in IPSW format using iTunes.

Along with iOS 12.1.3 Beta 3, Apple has also released tvOS 12.1.2 Developer Beta 3 and watchOS 5.1.3 Developer Beta 3 to the developers.

Should you update?

This new beta version brings nothing new to the table and is worth giving a miss.

With that being said, some users afflicted with WiFi issues on iOS 12.1.3 Beta 2 have experienced better reception after upgrading.

Jailbreak enthusiasts should stay put and ensure their devices don’t go over iOS 12.1.1.
