What’s new in iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1?
iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1 weighs around 350MB for all compatible devices and its build ID of this version is 16D5024a.
Just like previous updates, this update, too, brings only minor enhancements and fixes. According to its release notes, iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1 comes with the following improvements –
- Audio performance is improved on iPad Pro 12.9-inch and iPad Pro 11-inch while using third-party applications.
You can get this update straight from the downloads section of Apple Developer Center. This section, however, is accessible only by registered developers.

Alternatively, you can wait for Apple to release the public version. As far as its release date is concerned, you can expect the iOS 12.1.2 Beta 1 to drop within a couple of days.

Should you upgrade?
In my opinion, this beta introduces more bugs and glitches than it remedies. If you are a beta junkie, hold off on updating your device until Apple releases the second or third beta.
If you are an avid jailbreaker who’s still eagerly waiting for a jailbreak, you will be much better off staying as low as possible.
