What’s new in iOS 11.2.5 beta 7?
This build is labeled 15D60 and weighs over 2GB for the iPhone X. Its size indicates that this is the GM version of iOS 11.2.5. The full public release will drop in the coming week.
Apple rushed this update because beta 6 had a lot of bugs and glitches. The beta 7 GM update quashes all these bugs.
Here’s the complete list of bugs present in the previous version –
- No missed call notification.
- Battery level decreasing while the device is plugged in.
- Peek effect disappears after a few seconds once you use 3D Touch.
- Update notification bubble not appearing in Settings.
- Battery draining very quickly.

Should you update?
I don’ t recommend updating just yet. The entire iOS 11.2.5 lineup is a “bug-fix” update and nothing more.
You can expect an iOS 11.3 beta sometime during the next few weeks for sure. It will come with an option to disable or enable throttling on your iPhone. Therefore, I recommend waiting for iOS 11.3 right now.
If you want to jailbreak, stay on the latest version possible.
