Download iOS 11.1 Beta 5 without Developer account

Apple has just seeded the fifth beta version of iOS 11.1 to the developers. You can now download it for your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch below.

What’s new in iOS 11.1 beta 5?

I was hoping Apple will come out with a public beta build. However, it seems like the head honchos in Cupertino have other plans.

This is just a minor update with no substantial improvements. It focuses primarily on fixing bugs and improving performance on older devices, especially iPhone SE.

Although Apple hasn’t revealed anything yet, I believe this build fixes the passcode-less access to Photos. The build number of this version is 15B93 and its size is just 35MB on iPhone 7 plus and 32.9MB on iPhone 6s.

As of now, this version is available only for registered developers. You can download it from Apple Developer Center or with an appropriate developer profile.

If you don’t have a developer account, you can download the IPSW or the necessary OTA profile using the download links below. Along with iOS, you can also get your hands on the latest tvOS update for Apple TV 4.

As always, stay away from this firmware if you want to jailbreak your device. If you already are on iOS 11.1, feel free to try this new beta.
