Why does Home Depot Jailbreak throw Errors?
Home Depot is still under development so errors are to be expected.
The main reasons behind most of these errors are –
- Not re-jailbreaking your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch properly.
- Installing unsupported Cydia tweaks.
Apart from this, errors can be caused by a number of on-device factors.
Here are several fixes for most of the errors. But before you try any of the fixes given below, make sure you do the following before running Home Depot –
- Quit all applications.
- Wait for a few seconds after opening the jailbreak application from your home screen.
- Hard reset your device.
- Disable your passcode.
- Turn off WiFi.
Home Depot Jailbreak iOS 9 – Errors and Fixes
Q. My device is stuck in a bootloop after using Home Depot jailbreak. How do I get out of the bootloop?
A. There are 2 ways to fix this issue –
- Perform a semi-restore on your device.
- Restore to a fresh install of iOS 9 with SHSH blobs.
Q. Home Depot jailbreak is causing Cydia to crash. How do I make it stable again?
A. There are many ways to fix this issue. Try doing the following –
- Clean Cydia with iCleaner.
- Delete the older version and download the latest version from here. This will most likely fix this issue.
Q. How do I enter No Substrate Mode on Home Depot jailbreak?
A. Here are the steps needed to enter No Substrate Mode –
- When Home Depot begins to jailbreak your device, press the Volume Up button.
- Keep it pressed until you get to the Springboard.
If it doesn’t work on the first try, repeat the process once more. After a few tries, it should work.
Q. My device is stuck in No Substrate Mode. How do I get out of it?
A. You can easily get out of it by following these steps –
- Reboot your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
- Re-jailbreak iOS 9 firmware with Home Depot.
- Download and install iOS 9 Reboot Fix tweak.
Q. My device is in a bootloop after I installed Coolstar’s Stashing. How do I fix it?
A. Enter No Substrate Mode and delete the incompatible Cydia tweak.
Q. Can I install iCleaner Pro if I am using Home Depot jailbreak?
A. Yes, it is safe to install if you are not using Coolstar’s Stashing. If you have stashing installed, steer clear of iCleaner or unstash your device and reinstall it.
Q. Home Depot is stuck on “Running Exploit”. How do I fix it?
A. Reboot your device and re-install the IPA file with Cydia Impactor utility. If you are still getting the same error, try this –
- Kill all apps from the App Switcher.
- Enable Airplane mode.
- Start Home Depot application from your home screen.
- Don’t press any button and wait for a minute.
- Start the jailbreak process.
Q. Does Home Depot enable tfp0?
A. Yes, it enables tfp0.
Q. Does SSH work with Home Depot jailbreak tool?
A. No, the latest version of this tool has stopped installing dropbear.
You must install OpenSSH to get SSH to work. If you reboot, you will need to manually load the OpenSSH daemon.
Q. When does the signed Home Depot IPA file expire?
A. It will expire automatically after 7 days. So, you will need to renew its certificate.
Q. Do I need to sign Home Depot after every 7 days?
A. Yes, you need to resign it weekly with Cydia Impactor.
Q. Does it work for iOS 9.3.5 firmware?
A. No, there’s no jailbreak for this firmware at the moment. You should wait for Fried Apple Team’s upcoming 9.3.5 jailbreak tool.
Q. Which devices are compatible with this tool?
A. It is compatible with 32-bit devices only. If you have a 64-bit device, it will not work for you.
Were you able to Fix the errors?
I hope this fixes all of your Home Depot jailbreak errors. Always use the latest version as it contains many patches for errors.
Developer, jk9357, is working diligently and pushing out updates quickly. Hopefully, he should release a newer version that allows users to reinstall Cydia as well.
If you are still facing errors, don’t hesitate to leave a comment below. I will be happy to help.
there is no ipa file
Hello, David. You can get the Home Depot IPA file here – https://yalujailbreak.net/home-depot-jailbreak-ios-9/
sweet thnx
Welcome.
same download. no ipa file 🙁
Hey, David. You need to download the Mixtape Player IPA.
if its in that zip file its not in there
There’s no ZIP file, it’s an IPA file.
can you provide a link because I’m not finding an IPA. thnx 🙂
Here you go – http://wall .supplies/MixtapePlayerRC3 .ipa
yeah that is for the zip file I’m talking about that has no IPA in it 🙁
That’s an IPA file, not a ZIP file. Simply sideload it with Impactor, that’s it. I think you are trying to open it with a ZIP program. Send me a screenshot, if possible.
Hello, Luca! My 4s 9.3.1 is stuck on “patching tfp0” while enabling JB with Home Depot. How can i fix it? Thanks.
Hello, Artem. Re-install it with Impactor and input custom offsets.
hey Luca, I have been TRYING to jailbreak my iPod touch 5th gen on 9.3.2 but have no luck, I have installed HomeDepot RC3 and 6 but non seem to work. I would hit the jailbreak button and cydia would install but black screen and then crash, plz could I get a fast reply or at least a reply that would help me. Remember I haven’t installed NO tweaks and it is the second time I am jailbreaking the iPod.
Thanks
Hello, Nams. Home Depot is broken on some devices for some reason unbeknownst to me. There’s no fix IPA (like Yalu) for Home Depot as well. To top it all up, the developer doesn’t answer any queries.
Try this as a last resort – http://wall .supplies/MixtapePlayer6 .ipa
Thanks for the reply and I have tried the 6 but it still won’t work at all, I think I might just have to buy a new one or decide to forget about it and wait for a fix
The problem lies with the jailbreak not with your iPod. As far as I know, there won’t be a new fix for Home Depot.
Hello Luca, i have some serious problems with Cydia on iOS 9, i don’t have Terminal, SSH or a working iFile (which lets me delete files) I also posted it here: https://www.reddit .com/r/jailbreak/comments/6cgyz7/help_failed_to_fetch_errors_index_files_failed_to/
Do you might have an idea?
Thank you in advance.
Hello, gybaryan. What’s your device and firmware version?
iPhone 5c, iOS 9.3.4,
This requires a cleanup. Which version of mixtape player are you running?
How can i do a cleanup? RC3
Tty using this IPA – http://wall .supplies/MixtapePlayer6 .ipa
thank you! i will try and report back.
Good luck. 🙂
no luck -_-
This tool is broken on some devices. I highly suggest you update even if it means losing your jailbreak. Performance and UX are much more important than Cydia.
Have you stashed your SHSH blobs? That’s the only thing that can save your jailbreak right now.
Yo, my jailbreak expired so I tried to use cydia impactor to sideload Home depot again. However, it was suddenly stuck at idmswebauth/clientdaw.cgi any idea how to fix this?
Im using the latest cydia impactor and mixtape player rc 3. already revoke certificates in Xcode. Been searching the internet for hours and still haven`t find a solution
Hello, Louise. Try using a different cable or running Impactor on a different computer.
I tried a different cable and it didn`t work. I realized that it wont connect to my itunes but my other iphone with the same unit connects.
That’s your problem right there. iTunes must detect your device. Follow this guide – https://yalujailbreak.net/cydia-impactor-not-detecting/
Tried everything there, still doesn’t work. This is probably on my device since all of my other phone can be detected by iTunes (tried on different computers and different cables). The computer reads my phone but iTunes doesn’t so I thought it’s about the apple mobile driver but that doesn’t seems to be the case. Oh, and I noticed that iTunes detects it for a brief moment everytime I turn it off (it detects it till the moment it blacks out). iTunes also detects my phone when it is in recovery mode but that’s it. I want to restore but jailbreak for iOS 9.3.5 is yet to be released. I’ll just try it on another computer with a different cable again but I doubt it will work. Thanks for trying to help me man, sorry for wasting your time.
No problem, Louise. Feel free to ask whatever you want to.
Try a different system and report back. I will then help you from there. Good luck.
Also, tell me what’s your device/firmware version?
I’ll try it later.
It’s an Iphone4s 9.2.1
My other iPhone4s 9.3.5 and an old jail broken iPod touch 3G iOS 5.1.1 can be detected by iTunes.
I suggest you clean up your jailbreak with SemiRestore.
Did you get it fixed?
Any news?
Got the same problem with IPadAir 10.0.2. I think updating to 10.3 might fix Itunes detection. Jailbreaking made some damage to IOS.
Try using an older version, if possible.
Nothing worked man, also no semi restore for 9.2.1 yet. I wonder if there’s a way to get homedepot without connecting to pc. Like vshare?
Hello, Louise. I am sending you the download link of old version of Cydia Impactor – http://www.mediafire .com/file/eh4qcxr393rzm8c/Cydia_Impactor_v0.9.14.zip
Try this and report back.
It says no device found when I try to sideload Homedepot
I will walk you through it, just follow this guide – https://yalujailbreak.net/cydia-impactor-not-detecting/
The thing is itunes wont detect this jailbroken device. I tried trying different cable or different computer. I also tried cleanly reinstalling itunes the one where you uninstall and delete all of it components and I also tried reinstalling apples mobile driver software but it still wont read it. My other devices works fine and can be detected by itunes, this is the only one that has a problem.
That’s weird. I suggest you try using ext3nder – https://yalujailbreak.net/ext3nder/
Waiting for 10.3.1 jailbreak, I updated IOS to it. Itunes got fixed, Yalu’s JB lost, of course.
That’s great but a new jailbreak could take a while .
That’s right. But I didn’t have Yalu’s jailbreak either, add to damaged ITunes detection. I could lose updating to promised 10.3.1, waiting too long.
Just wait a bit more and hope they release a new jailbreak.
Dammit!
IOS 10.3 blocks cheap audio and OTG (USB) adapters , MIDI device is not connecting.
I think iCleaner caused this but I cant go back to the JB
Facing the same right now, what can I do? I dont have or have installed Stashing (whatever that is)
And how do I go into No Substrate Mode.. and what to do after?
For me it worked like this.. first time..
and then I could not Re Enable the JB – https://www.reddit.com/r/jailbreak/comments/6028l9/question_iphone_51_ios_933_32_bit_home_depot_jb/
Details:
[Question] iPhone 5,1 iOS 9.3.3 > 32 bit Home Depot JB > Cydia Update > iCleaner Pro > Reboot > Cant Re-Enable Jail Break
iPhone 5,1 iOS 9.3.3
32 bit Home Depot JB used to Jailbreak > Reboot
Open Cydia first time (shows additional repos from 8.x jailbreak) and Update
iCleaner Pro install from ib-soft.net Repo > Reboot
Try Re-Enable Jail Break.. (repeated many times)
What should I do?
Is there a way to bypass this?
or do I have to Undo the Jailbreak (How?) and
then Uninstall the 32 bit JB and
restart from fresh?
Please advise.
It takes me a total of 8/ 8.5 minutes to reboot – When and what moment should I hold down the Up Volume to get into No substrate mode and remove iCleaner. I held it whole time, but the UpVolume doesnt seem to register or maybe jailbreak is broken so it cant Detect the UpVolume at all?
hello, XM. Press the volume up button right before you start the jailbreak process.
Luca. I am keep it pressed throughout the time. From before the moment I say Go on the Renable Jailbreak. I get a triple boot loop and after 8.5 minutes I am back to the same place.
Try sideloading home depot again.
