How FlixEnhancer Works

FlixEnhancer Cydia tweak brings several useful and innovative features to the vanilla Netflix app. It is developed by tweak developer Joshua Seltzer.

It adds the following features once you install it –

• Enhanced rating system
• Forward Skip
• Chromecast preferred audio

Enhanced Ratings

Netflix rating system leaves a lot to be desired and could have been way better.

This tweak brings a revamped rating system that adds a progress bar and percentage. This adds yet another source of data that makes it easier for users to select the best movie or series based on its ratings.

Forward Skip

There are times when you absolutely want to skip through a scene. Surprisingly, the native application doesn’t have this highly requested feature.

With this jailbreak tweak, you get a new button that allows you to skip forward. You can even set the number of seconds you want to move forward by.

Chromecast Sound Mode

By default, Netflix broadcasts 5.1 on Chromecast. However, this leads to poor sound quality if you do not have the right equipment. It’s better to use 2.1 than a bad 5.1 mode. So with FlixEnhancer, you can choose the preferred audio mode easily.
