Another day, another tweak! Developer David Goldman has recently developed his popular tweak Flash for iOS 10. Let’s find out how it works.

How Flash Cydia Tweak Works

Have you ever found yourself unlocking your device simply simply to turn on your flashlight? If yes, then Flash is the Cydia tweak you want to install.

Flash Cydia tweak is unlike any other flashlight tweak available on Cydia. It works “intelligently” and provides a button to turn on flashlight when it is dark.

The “flash” button is present at the bottom left corner of your lock screen as shown below.

It makes use of ambient light sensor present on your iOS device. This means the flashlight button appears only when it is dark and goes away when you are in bright lighting.

You can also get the similar functionality by using Activator. However, it’s much better and easier to simply install a dedicated tweak.

Once installed, it works right out of the box. This is a great tweak to use in the event of an emergency or during power cuts. Recommended!

If you have Horseshoe or PickPocket 2 installed, you can expect some glitches. The developer has promised to fix compatibility issues in the next update.

Flash is available for download on David Goldman’s repo (http://apt.golddavid.com/) for free. It is fully compatible with iOS 10.
