After several betas, Saurik has released the final version of Cydia 1.1.28. The latest version is compatible with 64 bits devices on iOS 10,10.1.1,10.2. This update is huge as payment is now open.
Luca Todesco recommended to stay on version 1.1.27 even though many features were not working. However, you can now upgrade safely to the latest version 1.1.28 of Cydia. This is a major update and the build is stable.
If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch is already jailbroken with Yalu102, open Cydia and install the update. It’s really that simple.
The introduction of payment for tweaks and applications for iOS 10 does not mean that all apps will be compatible with it. Tweak developers must add compatibility with payments and only then you can purchase. Saurik has only added the needed infrastructure for its support.
A lot of users are reporting Cydia crashes. Remember, the Installer is supposed to crash after updating. When you install a update, the installer runs into a problem as it’s still running. So it must quit after the update process is finished.
Like any other update, users are still reporting several errors while updating. So if you are facing any other Cydia related errors, follow our Troubleshooting FAQ here.
