What is App Installer?
App Installer utility allows you to install signed IPA files without a computer, jailbreak, and iTunes. It is developed by Canadian developer Justin Proulx.
This is incredibly useful if you don’t have access to the App Store and need to install an app. Simply upload the signed IPA file on an online sharing service and use the download link to install it.
It is developed primarily for users who own non-jailbroken devices. However, it also works on jailbroken devices and is another solid alternative for installing IPA files.
The main feature of this tool is that you don’t need a developer account to use it. It has a good success rate but can fail on several occasions.

Is App Installer safe to use?
This tool is completely legitimate and is not designed keeping pirates in mind. However, it does allow you to install cracked IPA files.

Remember, App Installer is an installer, not an IPA signer. This limitation makes it as good as useless for non-jailbroken devices. If you want to install an unsigned IPA file, you must have AppSync Unified.
If your device is not jailbroken, you will need to sign the app using other tools such as iReSign and XCode. If you are jailbroken, you can simply use it alongside AppSync Unified or sign it using Extender: Reloaded.

How to Install IPA files using App Installer [No Computer]
Here’s a quick tutorial for those who want to use this tool.
Step 1 Download App Installer IPA file and install it using Cydia Impactor. You can follow this tutorial on how to use Cydia Impactor if you don’t know how to use it. This is the only time you will be using a computer.
Step 2 Upload the IPA file of the application you want to install to a file hosting service. You can also use files that are already uploaded to a host.
Step 3 Input the download link in the “Direct URL to .ipa file” field.
Step 4 It will prompt you to install AppInstaller now. Tap Install and then press OK.
Step 5 Your desired app will now be installed on your device. However, the installation process leaves a “garbage” or “scar” app titled “App Installer” without an icon. To delete it, simply put it in a folder and it will disappear.

I don’t know the writer of this article, but I am sure that Gian/Mike whoever he is, has no idea bout what he wrote. These things are useless. Cydia Impactor does not work. I had to get a new apple developer ID and still not work. Just waste of time. Computer is needed, by the way. 🙂

Yes, you need to input a URL of the IPA file. If you have an IPA on your PC, upload it to a file sharing service and fetch it from there.

Are you kidding? The name says without Jailbreak and then it says you need a jailbroken phone!!!
Sorry, that was a typo. You can install it using Impactor without a jailbreak.
